Capture the essence of Rhode Island by photographing what you believe best represents Rhode Island and then submit your photo to Renaissance Creative Imaging’s “Really Rhode Island” photo contest.
Renaissance Creative Imaging Inc. of Providence, known throughout the region for its top-of-the-line photo and imaging services as well as artwork mounting and framing services poses a challenge to novice and professional photographers.
“What image best represents Rhode Island?” asks Judy Wilson, Warwick, RI resident and Renaissance owner. “A windmill at Block Island or sunset at Newport? An ecstatic fan catching a home run ball at a Paw Sox game? Or something else? The contest is open to all, from art students to teachers; professional photographers to those who enjoy it as a hobby.”
Renaissance encourages you to show your ideas by entering “Really Rhode Island” to win $50 of free photo printing (digital or from negatives) and the “Best Photo 2004” award. The top 12 photos (including “Best Photo 2004”) will in turn be featured in Renaissance’s 2005 “Really Rhode Island” calendar with credit given to each photographer.
“We’re are really looking forward to seeing the many creative ways that artists portray Rhode Island. It’s exciting,” noted Wilson.
The deadline for all photo submissions is 5:00 p.m. October 30, 2004.
